I was in the lab yesterday. I was bouncing around between testing support and building systems. No, this is not normally my job, but I want this project to be successful, and know that I can do it. Another engineer walked through and asked, "are you working late tonight?" No, I replied, I am hoping to get out of here very soon. "Don't you have to pick up Annie?" I explained the summer routine. Then he asked the relevant question. "Don't you get lonely out in the middle of nowhere by yourself all the time?" I normally am moving in the lab constantly. However, I stopped.
