Dog breeders are all a bit whack-a-doo in my opinion. They think we’re all Michael Vick if we don’t wrap the dog in bunting and save every poo the dog makes. The truth is there are plenty of good doggy mommies and daddies that build great homes for the dogs. What the breeders fail to realize is that raising dogs isn’t our full-time jobs, unlike them. So, in their eyes, everything we do is inferior to their efforts.
He looks like a good pup (you’ll never convince me that fixing their ears is a good thing), and I’m sure you and Annie would be good family for him, despite the breeder’s best efforts to undermine your confidence. Keep up the fight.
