Cliffy...I’ve never seen a puppy covered with so many seed ticks before.  Cliffy was awesome, but understandably disturbed by being dumped in the wild.

For the record, the tree I grabbed ahold of was not a small tree.  It was easily 12 inches in diameter of deadwood, which is why it cracked and nearly crushed me to death.  I just remember doing a very Coyote vs. Roadrunner attempt to get out of its way when it came tumbling down. 

I also remember sliding down the steep hill on my butt, with Cliffy cradled in my St. Pats sweatshirt.
